  1. Moire ScreenSaver (portions (c)1987-89 John Lim) is a program
  2. that is installed via a cdev file that can be accessed from the
  3. Control Panel. After Moire (pronounced mwahr) ScreenSaver is
  4. installed, when the Mac is left inactive the screen will be
  5. darkened (to prevent the screen image from burning into the
  6. phosphor of the CRT) and a pretty Moire pattern will appear. To
  7. turn off the screensaver when it is activated, move your mouse.
  8. While the Moire pattern is moving, press a few keys to see some
  9. special effects...

  11. Changes from 3.00 to 3.01

  13. This is a bug-fix for Dyson's Folly. This pattern would
  14. not redraw itself properly after the Moire help message
  15. (invoked by hitting the space bar) screen was erased
  16. in Moire 3.00.

  18. Changes from 3.01 to 3.02
  19. -------------------------
  20. If you are on a machine that supports Colour Quickdraw and
  21. using a monochrome monitor, under very unusual circumstances
  22. Moire 3.01 would generate a bus error when activated.

  24. Under MultiFinder, when Moire 3.01's credits are invoked, if
  25. your cursor was over another program's window when you clicked
  26. the mouse (to exit from the credits) you would be switched to
  27. that window's layer.

  29. Both problems fixed in 3.02.

  31. Fish cdev
  32. ---------
  33. Moire 3.02 is currently not compatible with Fish (an INIT that
  34. makes your Mac 2 Desktop into an aquarium). This will be fixed
  35. hopefully in the near future.
